Kanagawa Meat Trading Center Co., Ltd., an ISO 22000 certified company, has started its business on April of 2002, as a meat distribution center with the highest hygiene level in Japan introducing the latest equipment. To ensure the hygiene in slaughtering, cutting and storing, clean zone and dirty zone are divided by floor. The work clothes are color-coded to avoid crossing of people from different sections at the work site. In addition to these arrangements for hygienic management, strict temperature control is also carried out.
Delivery to dealers nationwide after cut processing is also done under the integrated system for quality and hygienic managements so that customers can enjoy the fresh, delicious pork without worries.
To deliver fresh delicious meat of "Waton Mochibuta” to retail storers and restaurants unfailingly is the thought we, Nippon Best Meat Co., Ltd., are always keeping in our heart.
To realize it, we have established the system to cut Waton Mochibuta, shipped from strictly managed contracted farms, under finely tuned controls of temperature and hygiene, and deliver it as quickly as possible at its freshest.
In order to make more customers enjoy the taste of Waton Mochibuta into the future, we are expanding our business fields to meat processing, store retailing and restaurant business.
Quality control office has been set up in 2005, based on the thought of all our employees to provide customers with safe and delicious Waton Mochibuta. It is the only department to manage all the processes from slaughtering, cutting, processing to transporting with the perception of hygienic quality control, playing a role in improving and leading all of what are concerned with hygiene and quality control at all sites.
As a representative of Nippon Best Meat Co., Ltd., the office thoroughly supervises, instructs, and educates the staff, continuing the daily efforts to realize the best form of food company.
In 2008, we started the activities to acquire ISO 22000 certification, the international standard for a food safety management, and our Offal Meat Department (Meat Center) has been certified to ISO 22000 since 2009.
Wholesale store of Waton Mochibuta has established a specialty shop to produce hams and sausages, named as “Misai Koubou.”
All the processed meat products of “Misai Koubou” are made from 100% Waton Mochibuta with traditional German recipe and spices as well as with sincere artisanship. We have spared no efforts to ensure maximum flavor of Waton Mochibuta, and have achieved a satisfactory level of taste.
